I was raised on the hard side of Manchester. My mother was from Belfast, my father from Limerick.
They came here to build a life, raising seven of us in a house that was loud, chaotic, and full of love.
Two years ago, a fall from a ladder shattered my heel and my life. I lost my mobility, my job, and my confidence.
Then, I lost my father. Stuck in a deep depression and facing an aggressive cancer diagnosis, I had a choice: Let the silence win, or make some noise.
I chose the noise. Piccadilly Radio 261 is my therapy. It’s my defiance. I built this station from my own high-tech ‘bunker’—a studio packed with synths, screens, and servers. This isn’t a museum run by a committee. This is a one-man passion project, fueled by the memories of 1974 and powered by the technology of 2025.
